Marrakech – Rabat – Meknes (450km highway)

After breakfast departure towards the capital: Rabat. Arriving in the modern and well-kept city you reach its symbolic site: the Hassan II Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. In the Medina you reach the Oudaya kasbah with its characteristic blue and white colors. Departure for Meknes where we arrive in the late afternoon. Overnight in riad.

Meknès – Volubilis – Fes (85 km)

After breakfast, accompanied by a guide, you spend the morning visiting the city: from the imposing Bab Mansour, one of the most beautiful gates in all of Morocco, to the reservoir of the ancient imperial city, a water reserve for palace gardens, from the series of arcades of the stables to the large barns’ rooms, to then move on to the souks where the shops are still divided according to the different craft activities. After leaving Meknes, visit the Roman site of Volubilis declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Departure for Fes where we arrive in the late afternoon. Overnight in riad.

Fes

After breakfast, visit with the guide of the largest medina in the country. Once through one of the many gates, a journey back in time begins. The labyrinth of alleys is a succession of wonderful canopies, doors and string courses in inlaid cedar wood. Visit the Madrasa (Koranic school), admire the Neijarine fountain and, walking, walk along the El-Qaraouiyyin Mosque (which only Muslims can access). Leave the guide time available to continue visiting the city. Overnight in riad.

Fifth day

Fes – Merzouga (470 km)

Breakfast and departure for Merzouga. Heading towards the Middle Atlas one passes through Ifrane, called the “little Switzerland” for the similarity of the landscapes and the presence of chalets with pointed roofs, and crosses the large cedar forest. Once past Errachidia and Erfoud, descending from the plateau to the valley, you will reach Rissani from where you can reach Merzouga. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Sixth day

Merzouga (60 km)

After breakfast visit the surroundings of Merzouga with stops at the village of Kamlia and Lake Dayet Srji. In the afternoon, return to the hotel to get ready and set off on a dromedary (about an hour and a half walk) towards the desert dunes. Crossing the golden sand landscape at sunset, you reach the tented camp located in Erg Chebbi. Dinner is served here under the starry sky. Dinner and overnight in the tented camp.

Seventh day

Merzouga – Tinghir (210 km)

Wake up in time to watch the sun show rising in the dunes. On the back of a dromedary (about an hour and a half walk) you return to Merzouga for a shower and breakfast and then leave for Tinghir. Stop near Erfoud to see the mountain of fossils. Continue through the large oasis of Tafilalet, and arrive at the Todra Gorges: a large fracture of red rock that rises for about 300m and divides the High Atlas chain from the Jebel Sarhro massif. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Eighth day

Tinghir – Oasis of Skoura (180 km)

Breakfast and departure for Skoura. You travel through the majesty of the Dades gorges and then descend into its fertile valley full of palm groves and red earth kasbahs. Leaving the road, the Boutaghrar track reveals lunar landscapes with different geological formations. Continue through the Rose Valley and the valley of the thousand kasbahs until you reach the oasis of Skoura. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Ninth day

Oasis of Skoura – Marrakech(240 km)

Breakfast and departure for Marrakech. After crossing Ouarzazate you reach the Ksar of Ait Benhaddou, a magnificent example of a UNESCO-listed fortified village. After visiting the Ksar, we head into the Onila valley. Spectacular landscapes with incredible colors of the High Atlas accompany you for the rest of the journey, crossing the Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2260 m) until you reach the Marrakech region. Arrival in the riad in the late afternoon. Overnight in riad.

Tenth day

Marrakech – visit

After breakfast, meeting with the authorized guide to start the visit (half day) of the imperial city known as the “red Marrakech” founded by the Almoravides at the end of the 11th century. Discovering historic buildings, gardens and monuments, walking along streets and alleys and admiring the Koutoubia minaret you arrive at the famous Djemaa el Fna square from where, accompanied by music, dance and performances, you enter the lively and colorful souks. After taking leave of the guide, you can continue to explore the medina. Overnight in riad.

Eleventh day

Marrakech – departure

Breakfast and free time to continue visiting the city, go shopping or relax before going to the appointment with the driver for the transfer to the Rak Menara airport in Marrakech where you must arrive at least two hours before the departure time. of the flight. Arrival at the airport and end of services.
