Surrounded by palm trees, eucalyptus and oleanders, apple, almond and pomegranate trees, you pass through the oasis of Skoura; among the crops and vegetation the spectacular ruins of the fortified Berber architecture stand out: the kasbahs. You travel in the Rose Valley and in the Dades Valley in a succession of imaginative geological conformations that characterize the landscapes up to the great oasis of Tafilalet and the Todra Gorges, a large fracture of red rock that rises for about 300m and divides the chain of the ‘High Atlas from the Jebel Sarhro massif. After a walk in the gorges the journey continues in the direction of Erfoud and Rissani and from here to Merzouga.
